07shuffle_fam_440.jpgIt has been described as the “most wearable music player” but does it live up to its other iPod family members? For me the answer is most definitely yes. Thanks to a sturdy built in clip the iPod shuffle goes with anything. You can clip it to your sleeve, your lapel or your backpack. No matter where you wear it you are guaranteed to look stylish. I think it is fair to say that Apple have managed again to win in the style stakes and the cutest addition to the family is also extremely simple to use. Although it could be argued that the range of bright colours may not have worked as well on some of the larger iPods, it is both eye-catching and funky on the shuffle. On paper the shuffle should be beaten by its nearest rivals because of less space and other technicalities. However, there is something about the simplicity of design and the impressive sound quality in such a small item that manages to give the shuffle its edge.

ipod-shuffle-2nd-generation.jpg If like me you can be intimidated by the amount of space and other accessories that some mp3 players have then the shuffle is most certainly for you. Considering that you pay less than £50 the sound quality does not suffer (well not to my untrained ears anyway). For something that is 4.1cm long and just over 1cm deep, holds up to 240 songs (or up to 1000 songs if you sign up to shrinkmytunes) and lasts for twelve continuous hours the iPod shuffle may be described as the biggest thing in small. Clip on the iPod shuffle and wear it as a badge of musical devotion or maybe just as a fashion statement. Either way it works. Everyone knows what they say about good things and small packages and this is undeniably true about the shuffle. My question to you would be why spend hundreds of pounds on a music player when you can buy the ultra stylish, easy to use and very reasonably priced shuffle. From personal experience there is no other mp3 player that I would be interested in!.
