Welcome to the blog:)
In the weeks leading up to Christmas we will be blogging about some of the gifts that didnt quite make the top ten, some that never would, and some category specific top 10s.
There are some great gift ideas out there, so be sure to bookmark us (or add us to your RSS) to keep up to date with all the greatest gift ideas of 2007.
We want this to be an open and democratic website, so if there are any gifts you would like to see in the top ten then be sure to send us a mail, or to leave a comment.
I finally took a much needed holiday this summer and treated myself and Mrs W. to a cruise to The Bahamas. We discovered the most fantastic tasting cake - the Bacardi Rum Cake which is made by a bakery on the main island, Nassau , and god they’re good!
The taste of these cakes is divine, and we ended up bringing home 10 of their ‘bite-sized’ ones, each in its own little tin, with its own little wrapper of extra rum, for those who might like a little extra kick!
Within a day of us getting back, the neighbours had scoffed the lot, so we’ve ordered a load more (they make different flavours too (looking forward to trying the chocolate rum cake!) from their online shop as Christmas gifts for those friends who we feel we have to get something for, but don’t want to end up skint!
Their site is Bacardi Rum Cake and they ship to the UK too! Yay for Rum!
Definitely one for the gift guide!
Hi Harry,
thanks for the comment
Sounds like a great story with you, Mrs W, and the rum cakes. It is great that the deliver to the UK. I will be sure to check them out.
Might have an outside chance of making the top 10 (you never know… we still have 2 slots open) , but if not then i am sure it will make one of our category specific top tens.
thanks again.
Peter
Help me! My boyfriend is a mac addicted and he wants a iphone for Xmas. I’m thinking about offering him a geek t shirt.
Dressed for success!
What about some personalised mug shots not expensive but would definatley get a giggle. http://www.printster.co.uk/
